Rajasthan is a part of the country, where there is a shortage of water, where the fall of groundwater has harassed the government and the authorities. At the same time, a government -run plan has been proven to be a boon for this groundwater. Farmers are motivated to follow this project. Under this scheme, the state government is subsidized to protect rain water. Also, the water crisis for the farmers is also reduced. The name of the project is the Kisan Farm Talab Yojana or Kisan Farm Pond Project.

Apply by September 30

Rajasthan farmers should apply before September 30 to use this scheme. Under this scheme, farmers are getting up to Rs. 1.35 lakh to build farm ponds. To promote rain water safety and its use, the State Government will provide subsidy to the farmers qualified by the Agriculture Department by 2025-26. To obtain the benefit or subsidy of this project, the farmer’s name must be owned by a minimum of 0.3 hectares of land and a co -operator in one place in their share.

Special Conditions of the grant

A joint account holder, with mutual consent, is 0.3 hectares for a farmer and different forms of the same ammunition are eligible for subsidy in the pool. The distance of two pools should be 50 feet. A farmer will only subsidize in another pool based on the landowner and other ammunition numbers. A subsidy is available only after the fountain and drip plant is installed in the construction of the pond.

  • Farmers are subsidized up to Rs. 1.35 lakh to make farm ponds.
  • The government is paid by the government at a cost of 70 percent, and the farmer has to pay only 30 percent.
  • The size of the required minimum pond should be 400 cubic meters.
  • Farmers can apply online through Raj Kisan Portal or E-Mitra Centers.
  • The planned castes/planned tribal farmers receive more subsidy than others.

Which documents are necessary

To obtain subsidy from the agricultural sector, the farmer must have a copy of the Jamabandi copy, land map, small and margin type certificate. Without them, there is no benefit to the project.
