In Mukhtzar district, weather wins, wheat in the market and farmers’ concern increased

In the Mukhtzar district, the purchase process of wheat is in its final stage, but still 25% of wheat has been purchased. This has increased the concerns of farmers and commission agents. The weather is constantly changing- sometimes the dust storm, sometimes rain- in such a situation, proves that wheat in the market is harmful. In the Mukhtzar district, the delay and changing weather creates new problems for farmers. Administration and relevant agencies will have to take immediate action, so that the wheat safe warehouses can be achieved in Mundies, and farmers can get the right price for their hard work.

How many wheat came and how much did they buy

According to the data received from the district administration, a total of 8,94,849 metric tonnes (MT) wheat came in Muktzar’s Mandis until Monday evening. Of these, 8,91,772 metric wheat has been purchased by government agencies and private companies. But until now, only 6,71,620 metric wheat has been grown. This means that 2,20,152 metric is still lying in wheat mundi, which has not yet been taken.

Reducing the arrival of wheat

On Monday, only 5,469 metrry wheat arrived, which now shows that farmers have stopped bringing wheat in mundice or bringing very low levels. But the delay in raising old stocks is worrying.

The cleanliness of the administration- the issue will soon be overcome

A senior officer said, “We continue to speed up the raising of wheat by creating coordination with agencies and transporters. As the new attendance of wheat has diminished, the previous stock can be taken quickly.”
