Accused of borrowing Rs 9 crore
Maharashtra BJP minister Radhakrishna Vikke Patil and 53 people, including 53 people, have been booked for borrowing about Rs 9 crore in the name of farmers. The matter has been registered at the Loni police station in the Ahiliyanagar district on Monday, the official said.
The accused include Padma Sri Vikke Patil Co -operative Factory (Co -operative Sugar Plant) as well as Union Bank of India and Bank of India officials. The complaint was lodged by Sugarcane Farmer and Co -operative Sugar Plant Member Balasaheb Wicke.
There was a disruption in 2004
According to the complaint, this irregularity took place in 2004. It is said that the then mill chairman and directors had prepared a loan scheme using fake documents in the name of members and farmers. With the help of bank officials, he is said to have received a loan of Rs 3.11 crore and Rs 5.74 crore.
Got a loan waiver plan too
It was reported that the loan amount was never deposited in farmers’ accounts. Instead, the sugar plant officials and bank employees seized the money. The accused also used the government’s agricultural credit waiver scheme.
The official said that the police court had ordered the police to take action when the petition filed under Section 156 (3) of the Criminal Procedure Act was filed under Section 156 (3) of the Criminal Procedure Act. This section provides the right to order the police investigation for the magistrate’s cognitive offense.
BJP minister’s resignation
Responding to the FIR registered, Shiv Sena (Yupidi) spokesman Sushma Astare said Chief Minister Devendra Fatnavis should immediately resign. He told reporters on Tuesday that this was a shame for the government.
