Government procurement is now in its final phase at the minimum support price of wheat in Madhya Pradesh. The process, which is going on from March 15, 2025, will end on May 5. Earlier, the state government had issued the data related to the procurement, in which the amount of procurement was purchased, how many farmers were purchased, how many districts were purchased and the farmers were informed. The government said the purchase is still ongoing and that it is continuing to produce farmers.
Wheat bought from 7 lakh farmers
State Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Govind Singh Rajput on Thursday, 67 lakh 92 thousand 890 metric tonnes of wheat 7 lakh 81 thousand 389 farmers. The wheat yield purchased for farmers continues to be paid. In this line, Rs 6000 crore has been paid so far.
