The goat is often called the ‘ATM of the Poor’ because it is a permanent income for rural and urban poor families. With this in mind, the Bihar government is conducting a number of plans to promote goat’s farming and organize various projects to connect the people in the field. In this series, arrangements are being made to implement projects such as the GET Federation, the best center and the animal HAAT by the State Government’s Animal and Fisheries Resources Department, which can be developed commercially.
A statewide workshop organized for goat farming
A statewide workshop on ‘goat management and brais uphan’ was organized in a hotel lemon tree in Patna with the aim of developing it as a goat farming and successful business. In this workshop, the Directorate of Livestock and Department of the Department of Livestock and Additional Secretary Vijayalakshmi provided information on goat farming and future projects.

The government is going to do this work in the field of goat farming
Dr. N. Vijayalakshmi said that there is a need to increase the company’s capabilities for raising goats as a business. In this direction, the Department is considering the establishment of a better center for a Got Federation and Quality Training, Hafness and other development activities in goat rendering. The construction of the Gat sperm station will soon be launched with the aim of promoting artificial insemination in goats. To facilitate the sale of livestock, it is also considered to create animal rates.

Renj Devi, Minister of animal and fisheries resources of the Bihar government, said goat farming plays an important role in strengthening the rural economy. The state government promotes self-employment by providing subsidies up to 50-60% for the establishment of a goat farm under the Integrated Goat and Sheep Development Program. In addition, the ‘Gat Sperm Station’ program has been recognized to promote artificial instruments to improve the breed of goats.
For these reasons the farmers do not receive loans from the bank
Additional Chief Secretary Dr. N. Vijayalakshmi and the Minister of Agriculture have many problems with the farmers in taking loans from the banks and the biggest problem is that the civil score should not be correct. Farmers are unable to pay in a timely manner after taking loans, so there are problems with accepting their debt. To solve this problem, the government is creating a software, which contains complete information about borrowing from the bank.
