Now this year, the Indian Spicy Research Institute (IISR) has awarded a new type of high yield and aromatic (aromatic) yellow prize to the farmers of Kozhikode. The company has named it IISR Surya, which is a variety of light colors. This type of turmeric powder will meet the special needs of the sector.

According to the Hindu report, IISR Surya turmeric has been created after focus research. From this time, farmers who grow high -quality turmeric powder are expected to benefit greatly. 41 tons of yield is capable of paying
IISR Surya is capable of yielding 20-30 percent higher than local varieties, already a light color in the market. Researchers said IISR Surya is capable of producing up to 41 tonnes per hectare. The amount of gurguminine in these varieties is up to 2-3 percent. The same amount is found in other light color yellow varieties, but its yield is high.
Variously prepared after 10 years of research
Among the scientists who create new yellow varieties, D. Prasad, S.K. Aarti, N.K. Leela, S. Mukesh Shankar and B. Includes Sasikumar. Scientists have said that this type can be created after 10 years of research. IISR Surya has been created by the clon exam from access from the company’s yellow jermplas conservative. Yellow Board Chairman is in Nizamabad
