In the past, Bihar has caused heavy thunderstorms and rainfall in rabbi crops. In this context, the Minister of Agriculture and Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha had advised to evaluate the actual loss by checking the crops within 24 hours on Thursday. However, although it has been passed for more than 48 hours, no permanent report has been made public until now. At the same time, Agriculture Minister Vijay Sinha said that the government is fully evaluating the situation on the basis of a report received from all districts and that the relief and assistance process has intensified. He said, “Whether this is a disaster or opportunity, the state government stands with farmers. We will not hurt our donors under any circumstances.”
Rabbi and horticulture crops have been affected
Due to strong winds and heavy rains in most districts of the state, the crops in the fields have been badly affected, the Agriculture Minister said. Because of this, farmers have suffered funds. At the same time, many rabbi and horticulture crops such as wheat, hot mong, urath, sesame, maize, peanut, pan, pigeon, banana and onion have been affected. Many of these crops were close to the harvest, which increased the chances of damage.
Instructions for instant assessment, not reported
The Minister of Agriculture said that all district officials have been instructed to assess the actual loss through the physical examination of the crops. Once the damage report is received, the affected farmers will be given speedy assistance. Under the skilled leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the state government will provide all possible assistance to farmers. However, in the midst of all of the Minister of Agriculture, no information has been provided to write news about the loss due to crop damage.
Report was issued in 24 hours
At a high review meeting organized on Thursday, the Minister of Agriculture ordered that all district agricultural authorities should go to the affected areas and submit a report on the damage within 24 hours. But now it has passed over 48 hours, and it is not clear what percentage of crop damage is done in the state. However, this report is expected to be made public in the next one or two days.
