Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai on Tuesday examined the work of the Panchayat and Rural Development and Agriculture Department at the Ministry (Mahanadi Bhavan), Raipur and Chhattiskar. The meeting reviewed state and central projects effectively and discussed the future development strategies. Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that the Chhattisgarh government’s dedication and administrative functions said the government has done exemplary work in the agricultural and rural development sector. At the meeting, when reviewing the projects of the Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan expressed the need to connect the ‘Amirith Sarovar’ program with local livelihood. He said it would provide employment to the villagers and that the direction of water safety would be revealed. At the request of the state government, Union Minister Chauhan promised to amend the Labor budget under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Guarantee Scheme (MNRGA). At the same time, while reviewing the progress of Prime Minister Avas Yojan (Rural), he emphasized the physical verification of the new survey of allowed homes initially and conducted.

Chauhan, who provided information on the ‘developed Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan’, which will soon be launched by the central government, said that a group of scientists would go to various districts of the state and train farmers in practical and scientific agricultural techniques. He urged the state government to actively participate in this endeavor.
At the end of the meeting, central and state governments expressed confidence that Central and State Governments would jointly bring Chhattisgarh to the new development of Chhattisgarh and dedicated to new development in the field of agriculture and rural development.
