“There is no need to become a programmer overnight. You need to know how AI is integrated day by day,” Josh Graf explains from Linktin to Eurois.
According to a report on labor change in 2025, the skills needed for today’s daily work will change in 2030.
Within five years, your task may be completely different, but will you be ready for change or are you behind?
In this episode of The Big Question, Hannah Brown talks to Center General Director Josh Grappa about the situation and the future of the European labor market and the future of labor skills.
What is the European Labor Market in 2025?
January 2025 shows a 17% downside in hiring in Europe. This is related to reduction in many companies after childbirth.
During this period, many feared the approach to “the last entered, first entered, first left”.
Statistics continue to point out that those who are now connected to the active population will have twice as much work in their lives.
Construction of Europe’s work perspective is a change in the need for skills for the future.
“Today’s 10% of jobs are not in 2000,” Josh told Eurnevs, there is a great need for artificial intelligence knowledge, but the most defined offer.
How should Europeans prepare for the future of work?
Josh emphasized the importance of recycling and improving skills while preparing for future work. In particular, it is important for the main generation to develop their skills because they often work for a long time and less work movement.
“Let it be clear. It is not necessary to become a programmer overnight. You need to know how AI is integrated for a day -on the basis of the day,” he explained.
He cited a statement he had read last year, in which the executives were suggested that three -quarters of AI would work in front of a person without them, even if the latter had more experience.
He commented on the importance of training programs to encourage young women to enter STEM products and promote more different employees.
“Women work just like 2016,” says Josh.
“The worst news is that they will spend 162 years before reaching gender balance in artificial intelligence.”
High levels that are accessible to everyone?
Not just the general public; Even high -level administrators must be formed to survive.
“Historically, you can believe that your technology or product director has deep technical knowledge,” Josh explained.
“Today, every administrator must be a technical administrator. You do not need to know how to do the program, but understand how your business, your products, productivity and profit, in particular, the technology in the field of artificial intelligence can affect.”
Although Josh has insisted that there are still obstacles to prevent people from accessing certain positions from all origins, he was also confident of the future to access the opportunities.
“Before it is very difficult to communicate with a company or an administrator within a company. Today join the center, find them and send them a message. In most cases, they will respond in a very short time.”
“So there are tools that help, but still have to go a long way.”
Josh also shared some tips to attract more attention in LinkedIn. For example:
- Keeping a profile picture can increase the number of visits 26 times.
- Write an introduction in the profile.
- List all your skills.
- Participate in conversations. That is, follow the companies you are interested in to join, as well as commenting on discussions.
Do you have evil if you work in the distance?
According to LinkedIn data, the number of applicants for full distant works is much higher than the face -of -face or hybrid conditions.
Josh explains, “less than 5% of positions are completely distant, but 15% of all applications,” Josh explains.
In this context, he emphasized that gaining skills for the future to excel competition is even more important.
He also noted the benefits of a hybrid work for those who start their lives. These types of conditions usually have a better relationship between distribution and demand.
“The chance of creating networks within the company is very valuable. In fact, for those who work in the distance, I noticed that it is a challenge to create internal contacts at the beginning of their career life.”
