Dileep Kumar, a farmer from Mehdikanji in the Sasaram constituency of Rohtaz, hails from the smallest family. He leased only two acres of land, and today he is cultivating 60 acres of land in many villages and making good profits.

The financial crisis gave a new idea

Today, Dilip Kumar earns up to Rs 25 lakhs every year due to organic and organic farming systems, accepting advanced techniques and excellent management. He is a school fall, but now the winner he bought is identified as an agricultural entrepreneur. His journey is sufficient to tell the ability of modern agriculture to create mass employment.

Dileep’s family was financially weak. Due to financial restrictions, he had to leave the school after studying the Internet. In 1993, he began to sell vegetables to earn a livelihood by doing work. He soon realized that selling vegetables was not enough. Due to his lack of land, he took 2 acres of land in Mishirpur village and then cultivated vegetables in it. His early attempts in agriculture prompted him to pursue agriculture.

Help from experts

Recognizing the possibilities of vegetable cultivation, Dilip Kumar Singh gradually began to increase his agricultural land, which increased from two acres to 60 acres. His agriculture has spread to many villages including Kurach, Dayalpur, Lalcunch, Neema, Kota, Suma and Jayanagar near his hometown in the Sasaram constituency. In 2004, Dilip Kumar met with Krishi Vijayan Kendra (KVK), Rohtaz and Pikramganj, and told Dileep about scientific agricultural techniques. Under his guidance, he improved his agricultural methods, developed other crops such as tomato, oakra, cauliflower, prinjal, potatoes, onions, chillies, chickpeas, bitter chickpeas, capsicam and baby corn.

20 thousand people have given work

To further improve his agricultural skills, he trained from the Indian Vegetable Research Institute (IIVR), Varanasi and Horticulture Department, Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and Varanasi. This experience introduced them to the production of vegetables in new methods, especially in organic ways. Dileep Singh spread his farm on 60 acres by receiving training and guidelines from KVK, Rohtaz, Bao Sabur, Bagalpur and other agricultural institutions. Organic and organic vegetables are grown here. His thought made his business a very profitable job. With this, he earned Rs 20-25 lakh annually. Due to Dileep, 15 to 20 thousand workers have been employed today.
