Farmers can get animal insurance in Bihar for Rs. 525 and take such benefits of the government plan

There is a good news for Bihar’s cattle breeders. The Bihar government subsidizes up to 75 per cent of animal insurance. That is, if a veterinarian insurers, he will only pay 25 percent of the premium. The Bihar government will pay the remaining money. This program will benefit farmers who cannot insure their animals in cash tension. Since the government pays up to 75 percent, the animal’s insurance can easily be done by paying the remaining money.

In fact, Kavia Directorate under the Department of Animal and Fisheries Resources has introduced a special insurance scheme for dairy animals. The main purpose of this project is to protect livestock breeders from economic loss due to the death of livestock due to serious illness or other causes.

The main features of the insurance plan

Subsidy to insurance premium

Under this scheme, livestock farmers have to pay only 25 percent of the insurance premium. The remaining 75 percent is provided by the state government, which reduces the burden on the costs of the farmers and reduces the tension of their expenses.
