During the opening of the Conextu, last Monday (31), the event collected representatives of tourism trade at the Municipal Secretariat headquarters for culture and tourism (SEMULT), where the main projects ongoing to improve the experience of visitors and the value of local attractions.
Visit Belém: Tourist Digital Directory to the city
The BELém visit platform is reformulated to become the main virtual promotional tool for the city.
The project aims to create an interactive and accessible experience for tourists, and submit:
- Intuitive and fast response, facilitating access to information about attractive attractions, neighboring islands, events, restaurants and housing;
- The geographical location system, allowing the search for roads and attention points;
- Updated database, with details about working hours and institutions characteristics;
- Strategic partnerships with tourist entities to ensure accuracy of information;
- Accessible features, including translation into languages and multiple options for people with special needs.
Belém 360: Virtual Exploration of the city
Another innovative project is Belém 360, which is a platform developed by Belém Information Technology Company (Cinbees), which provides an overwhelming experience through interactive photographs and air videos.
Among the distinctive features:
- Monitor businesses such as Sao Price Market Reforms and VER-O-PESO;
- Virtual visits to historical heritage, such as Antonio Limos Palace and Bologna Palace;
- Explore green spaces such as Rodrigues Alves Bosque and Republic Square;
- Improving access, with an audio description in Portuguese, Spanish and English, as well as translation in Libras.
Training and financing for the tourism sector
In addition to technological innovations, the city of Bara capital hall was also invested in professional qualification and credit display for project owners in the tourism sector.
The National School of Tourism and Workshops in the Register of the Register’s Service Registry is also among the ongoing initiatives.
Financial institutions, such as Banpará and credit cooperatives, participated in the event to provide the available financing lines to businessmen in this field.
