City Hall runs Tatuí to enhance security at Lady Gaga

In the early hours of Friday (2), the Secretariat of Public System (SEOP) carried out another stage of TaUí, which strengthened the inspection along the Copacabana edge.

The procedure, which aims to combat irregular trade and ensure urban planning, has seized large quantities of buried goods and structures or left irregularly in the sandy tape.

During the process, Seop factors found many hidden elements under the sand, such as alcoholic drinks, water bottles, table, metal structures used for umbrellas, two cooling and about 50 coconuts.

Six records of wood were collected and about 3 tons of devices, which were disposed of to risk the safety of the beach pioneers.

In addition to the seizures, the inspection assessed an irregular tent and seized two illegal rented bikes by people without any license or maintenance. The amplifier is also removed from the site.

This was the second consecutive procedure for the operation. Between Wednesday night (30) and dawn Thursday (1), another intervention was made in Cobacabana.

At that time, the agents dug a tent in front of the singer Lady Gaga’s offer, scheduled for next Saturday (3). The large structure, which consists of dozens of iron bars, was a threat to safety and movement in the region.

Other elements at this stage included dozens of various drinks, coconuts and fabric, which were irregularly left in the sand, in addition to the chairs and coolers that belong to the boats that occupied the public area unjustified.

According to SEOP, these materials do not hinder the free use of the waterfront by the population, but also make it difficult to clean the cleaning work by COMLURB.

“These teams’ prevention contributes to preventing the occupation of the infrastructure of things with things, ensuring the physical safety of the people, as well as helping to enhance control of bottles, sharp things and other substances that can provide risks, especially in the midst of large trading,” explained by the Minister of Public System, Breno Carnivali.

During clearance procedures, many things that were abandoned were collected by unaccued street sellers, such as bags, beach tables and accessories that hindered the road.

The operation was supported by COMLURB, the Municipal Guard (GM-RIO) and the Rio de Janeiro Military Police (PMERJ), which guaranteed the safety of agents throughout the work.

The adoption of sellers on the streets for this event

SEOP also reported that accredited street sellers to work at the singer Lady Gaga event will only be able to reach the beach for five specific ways: Martin Avonso, Prado Junior, Hillario de Jovia, Santa Clara, as Zavier da Silvera. The scale, which was expressed by organizing the event and PMerj, seeks to enhance supervision and prevent the entry of banned elements, such as bottles and large structures.
