Bihar News: The Bihar government subsidize 75% on this fruit cultivation, read the full news

According to Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and Agriculture Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha, farmers are encouraged to cultivate fruit trees under the Integrated Horticulture Development Service in the state. At the same time, it has been decided to provide up to 50 per cent subsidy for farmers for mangoes and lichi cultivation under this scheme. In addition, up to 75 per cent of bananas and papaya has been confirmed. The Minister of Agriculture says that through this scheme, the horticulture sector will be expanded in the state and farmers will benefit more than fruit cultivation.

The government subsidizes irrigation

Under the Prime Minister’s Agricultural Irrigation Scheme, the Minister of Agriculture said that up to 80 per cent of farmers who accept micro -irrigation techniques such as drops and sprayers are subsidized. This technique not only increases the efficiency of water use, but also increases the quality and productivity of the crop. The Prime Minister’s Agricultural Irrigation Scheme will reduce agricultural costs and benefit more. He added that the purpose of these two projects is not only to increase production, but also to double the income of the farmers, promote self -employment in rural areas and combine unemployed youth with modern agricultural practices.

Cost of fruit cultivation

Deputy Chief Minister Sinha said the government has confirmed the price of Rs 2 lakh for cultivation of mango and lichi under the integrated horticulture. Farmers will be given a 50 per cent subsidy. At the same time, the cost of cultivation of bananas and papaya is 60 thousand rupees per hectare, which has a 75 per cent subsidy for farmers.
