Exhibition “Aviro’s Ceramic Factories”.

On Saturday, May 17, Aviro joins, with a celebration of ‘Good Day Ceramic 2025’, an attempt to promote Ceramic cities (AECC) in Europe, with the association of Portuguese cities and villages (APTCVC).

About three dozen Portuguese cities and villages participate in the move, throughout May 18 and 19, with more than two hundred cities from seven countries, European pottery, which creates a large international network dedicated to praise the porcelain heritage.

For the sixth consecutive year, the APTCVC’s founder and the current president of the association will organize AEUCC – a special program, which highlights the “Cement Street Fest Aviro”, which will be held on Saturday 10h00 to 18H00 in the fish market. This effort includes artists, craftsmen, companies and companies affiliated with porcelain and covers crafts to industry, research and technology.

From daylight, from 10:00 to 12:30 to 12:30 and 13:30 pm, the documentary “The Seven Lives of Clay” will be shown in the city’s seven life, which presents witnesses from former workers in the region of the region, with pictures of Jono Garcia Neto and Sofia Samia Saldanha.

Silver Salt to Cobaltus” Exhibition is dedicated to artists responsible for the most identity tile panels of Portuguese railway stations. The event illustrates the role of tiles as a public art gallery and visual contact vehicle throughout the twentieth century.

With a guidance tour, at 3:30 pm, at the city museum, “Paristas de Aviro. XVI to nineteenth centuries” ends at the exhibition, which combines 135 original works of the Great Barist Masters, and many of them signed from private and corporate collections. The event provides a unique view of the sculpture tradition in the clay and invites the public to find more and more visible works in the Avirons urban area.
