Haryana Agricultural and Farmers Welfare Minister Shyam Singh Rana visited the India International Horticulture Market (International Fruit-Subsi Mandi) built in Kannur in Kannur on Friday. He surprised the fruit and vegetable market in construction and provided the necessary instructions to the authorities in the area. The Minister of Agriculture said that the construction of Mandi should be completed in a timely manner. After testing, horticulture and agriculture is very important to our economy, he said. This has now become a part of the world economy.
An important role in the Horticulture economy
He said that the growth of each sector is essential to make India the third largest economy from the fifth largest economy in the world and that horticulture is an important part of it. He said farmers would benefit from this modern market built in Kannur. Its construction work will be completed in the next one year. The Haryana government continues to promote horticulture, aquarium, milk and flower cultivation.
Construction in the lines of France’s market
He said the Gunner’s market is based on the entire market of France’s famous Ruckis. The responsibility of creating it has been entrusted to the Nagarjuna construction company in Hyderabad. It will be the largest horticultural market in Asia. The construction of the market will be completed in the two years of the market, Haryana International Horticulture Marketing Corporation Limited. After this, fruits and vegetables will be brought from 14 states of the country, which will provide the best prices for farmers and increase business.
Modern Facilities will be on the Mandi premises
The minister said there would be many modern facilities on the market premises. There will be sewage treatment plant (SDP), Solid Waste Management Plant (SWMP), Drinking Water Plant (WDP), 17 large sheds, parking, workshops and five power houses. The Minister of Agriculture said that the construction work will begin soon and you will be bright once the market is ready. This market will prove to be a milestone for farmers.
The government focuses on horticulture
The Haryana government is now focusing on horticulture instead of traditional crops such as wheat and rice, so the income of the people here should be increased. State farmers will also benefit from being the largest market in Asia. It is known that the Israeli Horticulture area is doing good work in Haryana and helps farmers through the seed center.
