What represents the United Nations of Francisco, a defender of dialogue and pluralism?

We can say that the United Nations, at the institutional level, is the only place where the 193 -year -old members can constitute the countries of the world to face the common challenges that go beyond the capabilities of individual countries and dialogue and address them. It is also a school, a peace school, a dialogue school. Of course, all institutions have a margin of improvement, in fact they must also adapt to new situations, but the United Nations is certainly a tool that does not contain equations except for smaller institutions such as different G7 or G20 groups, which leaves many of them.

Despite our humble awareness of being observers and colleagues and the absence of all the means he possesses in this way, this sound is heard and appreciated above all because it is seen as a voice that benefits all, not the group, to a country or category. In this sense, there is sincere respect, appreciation and even sincere friendship.

Promote the dignity of every human family member, social justice, creation protection, and of course peace. It will also be a challenge for the next Pope … What are the lessons that leave their predecessors to the future Pope?

I think we in the church always move as a wonderful river and there is a period of time, for example the second Vatican Council, which represented some wonderful guidelines, then each back became translated and evidence according to the development of unpredictable situations. The story is not in our hands. However, I think there is a great current as it gives all the Pope, with its personal characteristics, its sensitivity, and the spirit that we have learned to read and explain the signs of the times, its contribution. But I see her a great journey together. To use the words of Pope Francis, it is a city on the way and the road is manufactured together. There are those who go to the foreground, and who remain a little behind, but we are all in a movement in these great issues, and in this sense, the council is always a beacon of the church.

What is the effect of Pope Francis and Pontificate in you and his ministry?

Specifically, my life changed, meaning that I was in a place, in Lebanon, moved me to another, in the Philippines and from the Philippines sent me here.
