Under this scheme, farmers in all 38 districts can spray effective pesticides and fertilizers using drone technology.

Bihar Agriculture Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha said the demand for agricultural drones in Bihar has increased towards modern agriculture. In the financial year 2024-25, the state’s 27,666 acres of crop was sprayed via drone. At the same time, a double target is set compared to the previous year.
This target has been increased to 56,050 acres in the fiscal year 2025-26. At the same time, under the pesticides and liquid fertilizers scheme on crops from agricultural drones, farmers will be paid a maximum of Rs. At the same time, a farmer can benefit the benefit of a maximum of 15 acres and drone spray twice.
Agricultural drone brought revolutionary changes in agriculture
Deputy Chief Minister Sinha said there was a revolutionary change in traditional agricultural systems because of the use of drones in agricultural work. Today, with the help of drone technology, there is only time savings. On the contrary, the prices of farmers have declined significantly. A drone sprinkles crops in 10 to 12 minutes on 1 acre of land.
In addition, he can fly with 10 liters of pesticides, fungicides or liquid fertilizers in one of his planes, making the spray process more effective. He added that the NPK Federation, nano urea, nano DAP, microcosm and other liquid fertilizers can increase the quality and productivity of crops by spraying from drones.
Farmers are self -reliant using drones
Agriculture Minister Vijay Sinha said that the effort would make the farmers selfish and make them technically efficient. He said this effort of the state government was an important step to promoting stable agriculture, environmental balance and smart agriculture. This will reduce agricultural costs on the one hand, and on the other hand, production and farmers’ income will increase.
