To ensure proper training to these authorities, the Agricultural and Farmers’ Welfare and Director General of Horticulture have been instructed, and they should be given specific demonstration targets, which will be reviewed from time to time.
Sample collection and quality control
According to a senior official of the Department of Agriculture, the sample tasks are mainly done by the Deputy Director of Agriculture (DDA), Quality Control Inspector (CUCI), Deputy Divisional Officer (STO) and Material Expert (SMS), but due to limited human resources, the sample has become a challenge. In addition, monitoring distribution chains, blocking black marketing and maintaining quality standards is a big concern, especially during the peak season.
