This season was held in hybrid mode. In this session, like IMT, the rainy season has been confirmed than the nature of this year. It is also said that most of South Asia is likely to be more monsoon than normal.
Where the low rain is
A report on the weather forecast of the southwest monsoon (June-September) in Pune on Tuesday. Apart from Tamil Nadu, part of the Jammu-Latak-Le and the northeast of India, most of South Asia is expected to receive more than normal rainfall. Other parts of the region may be in accordance with the possibility of seasonal rain (no major deviation from nature).
Where is the chance of high rainfall
Pakistan and Nepal have stretched up to the southern parts of Afghanistan and the northern and eastern parts of Sri Lanka rather than normal monsoon forecasts. In the weather forecast from Czechoff 31, there are a lot of differences in rain and temperature from this season. In such a situation, it is advisable to monitor extended forecasts. Czechoff and IMT have predicted more than normal rainfall in some parts of South Asia, except for parts of Tamil Nadu, North India and northeastern India.
What was the situation last year
Last year, most parts of South Asia received more than normal rainfall. At the same time, the foothills of the Himalayas and northeastern parts were less than normal rain. Regional Climate forecast for the 2025 season has been developed with the support of international experts by nine national weather and water science services of South Asia. The June-September monsoon season is expected higher than the average rainfall.
South India is heating up
It is determined by favorable climate indicators such as the Enso (ENSO-South) and the Neutral Indian Ocean two-thruv (IOD) conditions. Both these factors have historically supported strong monsoon operations. Most parts, especially in Central and South South Asia, are higher than normal temperatures at night. At the same time, in the North, East and Northeast India, the maximum temperature is expected to be higher than normal. In Central and South India, there may be relatively mild heat during the day.
