Officials assess the damage caused by the UL Lipas’s Rainosa as the city recovers from heavy rains and floods that hit the Mexico-American border last week.
Local officers in Rainosa rescued nearly 2,000 people affected by the severe floods-the victims are trapped in high-end areas or their vehicles. According to the Associated Press, it was reported that four persons were dead.

Officials are now working to understand the extent of destruction, to destroy submerged furniture, and clean up the affected houses, schools and streets.
Tama UL Libas Civil Defense Chairman Louis Gerardo Gonzalez de La Founde said that Rainosa was the most affected city. However, some parts of the border towns, Rio Bravo, Miwal Aleman and Madamoros, have been affected.
