A survey conducted by the Bhutan Institute’s Scientific Library team, based on the information of the sapientia warehouse, indicated that 67 % of the studies published by the Institute in the past seven years have been led by women.
Of 1,122 scientific articles published exclusively by Batunan scholars between 2018 and 2024, he was 754 the hero of the female novel. In 2018, 2020 and 2022, women led more than 70 % of publications.
Data reveals that the institute scientists had an annual average of 108 publications annually in the main authorship, which corresponds to a monthly average of nine publications in the seven years analyzed.
As for this number, the works published by the women associated with the institute who worked as the first authors (research experiments are conducting), or the author of the correspondence (presents the article to the magazine, and the editors and screens respond to work until publishing) or another author (research coordination that generates scientific article).
Most of the research led by women in Boltanan is linked to the Center for Scientific Development and the Center for Development and Innovation. The institute also supports the start of a new generation of scientists, from the articles published between 2018 and 2025, eight scientific starting students have been developed.
The numbers offered by the institute are higher than the country’s average. In 2022, the survey “Towards the Sexes in Research in Brazil”, which was made by Emperor Buri, indicated that only 49 % of national scientific production had at least one author.
They signed the articles: researchers, collaborators, technologies, or students directly associated with the institution, or who develop their research in graduate studies programs/scientific starting in the institute’s laboratories.
