Ukrainian President Folodimir Zelinski said on Saturday that Ukraine expected a strong response from Western countries to almost Russian drone attacks daily on its territory.

“Our partners should understand that these Russian attacks not only target our people, but also target all international efforts and diplomatic efforts aimed at ending this war,” Zelinski said in the night video speech.

“Russia is attacking everyone who seeks to end the war. It is impossible to ignore hundreds of the martyr (which Iran designed) every night.

“We expect an answer, a serious answer. We are working to ensure a strong reaction, especially from America, Europe and all who depend on diplomacy.”

Ukraine and Russia accused each other of violating the energy agreement.

In his comments, Zelinski also said that he spoke to the main military commander in Ukraine, Olikander Serski, about the situation along the confrontation line, which began when Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022. They were discussed, as he said, areas “where our forces operate within the Russian region.”

“We maintain the active measures that prevent the occupants of the advancement to the areas of Sumi and Karkiv (Ukraine),” Zelinski said.

The Ukrainian forces are still present in the Kursk region in western Russia after seven months of the raid, although the Russian forces regained the lands.

Zelinski said on Friday (28) that the Ukrainian forces took “certain measurements” in Russia outside the Cursk region to relieve pressure on the Ukrainian forces in the region.
