The Bihar government is going to take a big step in promoting farmers for natural farming. Under this, 800 agricultural stories will be recruited in the state. These stories will tell the farmers about natural agriculture and encourage them to follow chemical agricultural options. Women farmers and rural society will benefit directly.

What is an agricultural friend?

A trained female worker of agricultural Sahi goes to the villages and tells the farmers about natural farming. These stories provide technical guidelines and help farmers in training programs. They will be selected from rural women.

How much will the ORA Ravam and the allowance receive?

Every peasant friend will have to work 16 days a month. For this, they will be provided with funds daily, and will come:

  • 300 rupees per day
  • 200 rupees per day

In this way, an agricultural friend gets up to Rs 8,000 per month.

How to apply for agriculture

The official announcement of the application process for the next appointment has not yet been announced, but applications will be called at the Panchayat level soon. The application process will be conducted by self -Helb groups (SHG) and rural -level companies.

How many farmers will benefit?

Bihar 50,000 farmers will benefit from this scheme. The government will provide an incentive of Rs 4,000 per acre for each farmer. Natural farming will be done on 20,000 hectares of land. 266 biological resource centers will be set up, and from the place, natural entries such as Jeevamrit, Bijamrit and Kanjivamrit will be provided to farmers.

Through Krishi Sahi Yojana, the Bihar government is not only taking steps to make the farmers self -replacing, but also provides employment opportunities to rural women. This will help make agriculture a profitable business and protect the environment.
