The Uttar Pradesh government continues to take important steps to increase the income of the farmers and to profit agriculture. In this series, the state government has provided the Kisan Credit Card (KCC) facility to over 71 lakh farmers in the fiscal year 2024-25. At the same time, in the financial year 2025-26, the target of connecting 25 lakh new farmers with the Kisan Credit Card. For this purpose, all the Mandalayaktas and District Magistrates have been instructed.

The state government has stepped up the task of providing Kisan Credit Card to all beneficiaries of Prime Minister Kisan Suman. Under this job, this card is distributed with the help of co -operatives and commercial banks. The Government of India has advised all qualified farmers to connect to the KCC so that they can take advantage of crop loans.

A special campaign will be held at the district level
Crop lending increase has been recorded through the Kisan Credit Card Scheme. Under this scheme, farmers are paid the amount of money needed for farming from the bank for low interest rates. They can buy advanced seeds, fertilizer and pesticides. It not only enhances their yield but also doubles income. The state government is planning to connect 25 lakh new farmers to the KCC project in the upcoming financial year. For this purpose, special campaigns will be held at the district level and the worthy farmers will get cards.
