Celebration Victory Day In World War II, in Moscow, 80 years since the end of the conflict in 1945, the scene of a decisive meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping will be, according to the general coordinator for analyzing the international strategy, security and intelligence at the University of Sue Paulo (DSI-UsP),, Alberto Phaver.
History represents the victory of the forces of the Soviet Union and the Allied countries against Nazi Germany in World War II. For PFEIIRIR, from the Chinese leader of Russia, from 7 to 10 May, is to be an event of great geographical importance, which may redefine the balance of forces in the international scene.
“The visit of Xi Jinping to Moscow is an opportunity to re -negotiate and deepen the strategic bonds between Russia and China,” says Payver.
For the DSI-UsP coordinator, China played a decisive role for Russia, which faced severe international sanctions after the conflict began in Ukraine.
“Chinese support was manifested through Russian oil, food and materials exports to China, as well as supplying Chinese weapons and manufactured products to Russia. Most importantly is the political support of Beijing, which, although he was not publicly announced, was sufficient to allow Putin to maintain his military campaign,” he explains.
According to PFEIFer, this meeting between Putin and Xi Jinping can indicate the balance of the world forces, with a focus on the Russian axis. “Such a movement can reduce the impact of Western attempts to reintegrate Russia based on the global system of the West -align with the West,” he says.
The visit occurs at a time when the relations between China and the United States are tense, especially after the intensification of the trade war that Donald Trump began.
“The inability to reach the peace form between Ukraine and Russia also contributed to allowing these two partners, China and Russia, to search for a new formation of the global system that meets their interests,” as it concludes.
