From Francisco to Francisco, two men in the service of humanity

Two men with eight hundred years, united with the surprise of the name, and above all, on a path that was opened in front of them, unexpected and unique.

Francisco de Assis will always be united with strings of his name, Provence whose father loved him because he opened new paths, not just for trade. Jorge Mario Bergolio, maybe, hosted a flesh of a pregnant moment in the future, with this name not only a destination, but an open door to go. Francisco de Assis is not given. It is demands.

Who can withstand the comparison? In fact, Francisco did not want in the twenty -first century to be a copy of Francisco in the thirteenth century. It was an inspiration, and he took some elements and tried to explain it in the unique situation that was called to live in: Rome and the world, the Catholic Church and many men and women with good intentions, of all colors, languages ​​and peoples.

Some elements of Brother Francisco have given us immediately and perhaps sometimes they are seen as harsh. For this reason we transferred. I think a new time is now opened, as we can host this experience, re -read this gift and not to be tired of placing it on the road, and often dusty, from our time and the great humanity that inhabits it.

Thanks to two Francisco and those who are still accepting an inspiration for the first inspiration with the immediate, with the audacity in the concrete wisdom of the second.
