Raga UL Li, a village under the Jalan district of Uttar Pradesh, has set a record in his name. Raga UL Li has become the first village, which is completely free from poverty. Many generations here dreamed of being free from poverty, and it is now realized. The village is now free from poverty, and every family here is busy living with good income. How did all work started

Last year, Chief Minister Yogi introduced the ‘Zero Poverty’ job by Chief Minister Yogi on October 2. Under this campaign, a goal was set up to expel 25 lakh poor families from the swamp of poverty. Families are selected in each village. According to a local media report, 12 thousand families were selected in Jalan. A total of 705 families of Ragali’s village were surveyed. Of these, 22 families were living in poverty. Jalan T.M. Rajesh Kumar Pandey started the task of linking these families.

Good income is going on today

Financial aid was provided through several government programs. A member of all 22 families was trained under the Dendayal Upadhyay Rural Aus Sal Yojana. During the training, some family members were given employment in other states. Some people get employment up to 22 thousand rupees in a district like Rajasthan. At the same time, under the Chief Minister’s Youth Entrepreneurship Development Campaign, the youth of the village were given a loan of up to four lakh rupees. The young man here bought Thambo from the debt, and today he earns up to 800 rupees daily. With the help of a variety of exercises, families are earning 20 to 25 thousand rupees today.

What is the task of zero poverty

UP Under the zero poverty work on behalf of the government, poor families are provided with the necessary requirements such as food, clothes, education, medical facilities and housing. Also, poor families from each village will be selected in this task. These families benefit from many public welfare programs. The purpose of this campaign is that the annual income of each family reaches at least Rs. Uttar Pradesh is the village in India, where the poverty rate is high. According to the Niti Aayog Report, in 2023, 28 states are ranked 24th.
