Manfred Weber, the leader of the European People’s Party (PPE), has no longer seen the United States as a global force.
In a special interview with ‘EuroNus’, during the first Trump administration, he expressed concern about a “disruption and irregular behavior”, which has now been working on the world order to redesign for 100 days.
“In the world that the United States is no longer a stable anchor and this type of orientation, Europe is heard. Again, Europe’s largest party must provide this thought and this content to Europe correctly.”
When Vice President JD Vans visited the Munich Security Conference in February, the section between Europe and the United States was fully shocked. In his comments, he accused the European Union of inquiring freedom of expression and promised a different approach.
“Led by Donald Trump, we do not agree with his comments, but we will protect, agree or agree with his right to deliver it in public square.”
Weber not completely disagreed, protecting European limits to hate the discourse and false information.

Weber emphasized the importance of defining a different European identity with no external influences from the US, China or Russia.

Despite supporting a strategic distance from Washington, Weber emphasized the continued importance of security cooperation and the need to strengthen its role in the world environment.
“Where we need more dedication, there are the security page and the next foreign affairs policies. That is the task in front of us.”
During the Valencia Congress, Weber was re -elected to the second decree as the leader of the BPE, and won 502 of the 563 valid votes.
