However, the Bihar government is now setting up a Custom hiring Center (CHC) at the Panchayat level under the fourth agricultural roadmap. At the same time, the goal of opening about 267 new centers was set by the government in a year. Girish minister and deputy chief minister Vijay Kumar Sinha said that by establishing such a center, small and margin farmers can easily get the benefit of modern agricultural equipment so that farmers can do time -related work on agriculture. There they can take more products in low cost and low hard work.

These devices are at the center of the Custom West

On the equipment at the Custom hiring center, Agriculture Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha said that the establishment of a custom hiring center will provide tractor -tractor or automatic equipment in their panchayat. Any equipment plowing, sowing/planting, harvesting and throwing and farmers can rent these devices. He added that farmers do not have to invest their own money for rent at the panchayat level. They can use modern techniques without excessive investment. At the same time, small and margin farmers will get more benefits from these centers.

The government offers a 40 percent subsidy

Minister Sinha said that it would cost a maximum of Rs 10 lakh to set up a custom hiring center. At the same time, the state government will provide a subsidy of 40 per cent or a maximum of Rs 4 lakh. Farmers and farmers’ groups can easily establish the center. At the same time, according to the local crop rotation under this scheme, it is mandatory to take at least one tool for each agricultural operation.

Many centers will be set up in a year

Deputy Chief Minister Sinha said that a total of 950 custom hiring centers have been established throughout the state. At the same time, the target is to set up a total of 267 new centers in the financial year 2025-26. In addition, the benefit of the center can be taken by Progressive Farmers, Livelihood Committees, Village Organization, Classter Federation, Soul Farmer Interest Committee, Napart or Nationalized Banks, Farmers Club (FPO), Farmer Manufacturing Company, Self -Help Group (SHG) and PACS.
