The problem with burning straw (narrow) in Madhya Pradesh is that it has become the most ineligible state in the country. This is the reason why the government has announced that it will still do this. Until now, only the action and the FIR have been filed against the farmers, but now the government will be denied crop sales, the benefits of government programs and minimum support prices. State Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav delivered information on the decision on Thursday.
The environment is affected by the burning bomb
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is an agricultural -based state and after harvest, the increase in cases of burning in the fields causes great damage to the environment, including air pollution. By setting fire in the field, the nutrients available on the ground are destroyed and the fertilizer of the land is less. To deal with this problem, the state government has already banned the burning of straw.
Chief Minister Kisan Kalyan Yojan will not benefit
After this, Chief Minister Yadav said that if a farmer burns straw in his field, Mukyamandi Kisan Kalyan will not be given the advantage of Yoja. In addition, farmers cannot sell the crops on the burning straw at the minimum support price (MSP) until next year. The Chief Minister said this during the review of the Revenue Department at the Chief Minister’s residence. He said that this decision by the state government would apply from May 1 to the environment, soil protection and maintenance of land.
State Government appealed at the Farmers’ Center
At the same time, after February 2019, the central government has urged the central government to connect the new land holders with Prime Minister Kisan Samman and Yoja. In this scheme, the federal government sends a total of 6 thousand rupees of financial assistance each year in three equal installments each year.
By March 2025, more than 85 lakh beneficiaries of the state have been distributed Rs 28 thousand 800 crore. In addition, Chief Minister Kisan Kalyan is providing assistance of Rs. The project, which has been implemented since 2020, has been sent to more than 85 lakh beneficiaries of the state of Rs 17,000 crore.
Digital examination of crops across the state
In addition, the Revenue Department has launched a digital survey of crops for Kritavari since 2024. Of these, more than 60 thousand rural youth are completing a survey of farm and crops. It was said that 190 types of crops are cultivated in the state.
