The thing to relocate from villages is now outdated, because veterinarians of the Uttarakhand border districts show that if the aims are supported by computer support, the crores can be earned from the village. In just 5 months, 253 small farmers have earned Rs.
Yes, you are reading correctly. Farmers of border districts such as Pitorakar, Chamoli, Uttarakashi and the incident in Uttarakhand are now directly supplying the mutton, poultry and trap fish to the ITPP (Indo-Dibetan border police). From this distribution, their income is now leaving the big shops in the cities.
How did the fate of the peasantry change?
Now, the ITPP had to get all these items from mutton, poultry and fish cities. But the Livestock Department took a major action on October 2024 and the ITPP distributed directly to the local farmers. The effect? 253 farmers, 10 co -operatives and farmer manufacturers meet the need for the ITPP.
According to the PTI report, 79,530 kg of mutton, poultry and trunk out fish have been provided in the first 5 months. This includes 42,748 kg of mutton, 29,407 kg of poultry and 7,374 kg of tramp. With this, these farmers earned Rs 2.6 crore!
20 million annual revenue target!
According to Dr. PVRCC Purushoni, Secretary of the Department of Animal Cultivation, the salary is paid within 24 hours given to the farmers. For this purpose, the department has prepared a Rs 5 crore rotating fund. It is estimated that the scheme will provide 800 metric tons each year, which can lead to annual revenue up to Rs 20 crore.
Farmers changed the luck
The story of Narendra Prasad from Paralau village in Pidorakar district is becoming an inspiration for every farmer today. In 2022-23, he started with a chicken program of the livestock industry, and today he is making 16 quintal chicken every month. Of these, 3 quintal chicken is the ITPP. Narendra, a BTI, says, “It is not considered that much from the village to earn so much. Now it is believed that it may change from here.”
The CM has appreciated the Tamil project
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Thami also praised the effort. “This will not only increase the income of farmers in the border, but also stop migrating from villages. Farmers are now standing on the shoulders with the ITPP to protect the country and get new and nutritious foods,” he said.
Now talk about this project, which promotes local production and farmers will no longer rely on big cities. In addition, farmers will have direct income and intermediaries will be expelled. Comrades will open new ways of employment, including fisheries, poultry farming and goat farming.
