Advice to avoid illegal laws at work, life and reviews about their career, are the main issues that were developed for candidates for judges in Mexico on social networks yesterday, on the first day of the campaign.
Some applicants filmed video clips published in the personal or Instagram profiles, but barely reached between 50 and 100 perceptions.
This is the case of Alejandro Carillo, a candidate for the provincial judge.
“I was born in Valparaíso, ZacateCas, where many young people faced many economic barriers to continue studying. The road was not easy, but thanks to scholarships for academic entitlement, I can study law in Mexico City,” the lawyer says.
Cesar de Leon, another of the applicants, posted a video that starts with a question: “Who do you put on basic issues such as your freedom, work, your heritage?
“In these judicial elections, it is important to know the profiles of candidates for the position of judges and judges,” he says through the minute and a half that lasts his recording in photography and tells his experience at work.
Other candidates only used networks to publish stickers, such as Angel Olivira, who runs for the provincial judge on criminal matters. In the picture, there is a brief review of his practical experience and a picture of him with the legend: “Justice that adapts to reality.”
Some of the applicants in their photos participated in social networks that distribute the bulletins in the homes of the judicial areas where they seek to be judges, so Christian Castro Solis has done.
“Today in my tour of the Eastern Agricultural Colonial, I had the opportunity to meet very special people, they told me about their difficulties in achieving justice; this is not only happening in the mayor’s office, but it is the entire urban area in the Valley of Mexico, #Porunajusticting.
Restrictions
According to the guidelines established by the IECM electoral institute (IECM), candidates may publish their experience and proposals through social networks or digital media, as long as they do not involve disturbances to enhance or amplify their contents, such as employing specific ads.
They are also prohibited to finance campaigns, as well as direct or indirect employment of spaces on radio, television, or any other communication means to enhance nominations, as well as advertising spaces and personal promotion in the media.
